UX-Designer (32-40 hrs/w)

UX Designer (32-40 hrs/w)

For one of our teams, we are looking for an experienced User Experience Designer to work on projects for clients such as Nexperia and Mitsubishi Chemical Group (MCG)

What will you do?

As a UX designer, you will be responsible for designing optimal experiences for the users of the applications being built in the teams. To achieve this, you will start with requirements gathering. Hosting interactive workshops is essential for this. Together with the client, you determine brand attributes, define personas, establish customer journeys and set out the storymap in line with business objectives. The end user is central in this, because our applications are used by our clients to serve their customers. You are a sparring partner for the client and translate the workshop results into a sitemap or user flow. You make prototypes in Figma. You have a feeling for design and can bridge the gap between the (external) User Interface designers and our development teams. If you can lead this tot the next step and manage to work it out yourself, that is an advantage.

You also plan user tests and carry them out during the Discovery Phases or iteratively during construction. You then analyse and process the user tests to arrive at better-founded design choices. This user experience is also central for you when you prioritise the user stories together with the project manager. Throughout the entire project, you participate in the development sprints, guarantee quality and act as a valuable sparring partner for the customer.

What do we expect from you?

  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role;
  • You have experience in customer contact and see business opportunities in the field of UX and make the most of them;
  • Good time management skills;
  • You can deliver quickly during design sprints/discovery phases;
  • You have experience in guiding and exploring workshops with customer groups;
  • You are ahead in your knowledge of UX and UI principles;
  • You can easily and adequately switch between projects;
  • You are ambitious, critical, assertive and not afraid to take responsibility;
  • Excellent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken;
  • Analytically strong and with good communication skills;
  • You enjoy sharing your knowledge and also coach/supervise a junior.

What do we have to offer you?

At TRIMM, we work with over eighty specialists to devise, design, build, host and maintain digital platforms, sites, portals, shops and campaigns for clients such as Philips, DSM, Nexperia and KLM. Because we work in autonomous teams at TRIMM, we feel jointly responsible for the success of our customers and the success of the projects. In doing so, we constantly look for the next step; each project has to be better than the previous one. That's where we need you!

For this position as UX designer, you will of course receive an appropriate salary, in addition we offer you:

  • Very generous fringe benefits, such as 27 annual holidays, travel allowance and a pension scheme;
  • A lot of attention for substantive professional growth and personal development;
  • A generous training budget;
  • A comfortable workplace of your own in our premises in Enschede;
  • Lots of fun and experiences with colleagues during sports activities, parties and Friday afternoon drinks.
